At Long Last!!

Well, it is official!!!

As of today I am finished the toy inventory at work, having sorted through every toy in the centre, put sets of toys together, made my list (and checked it 3 times), moved toy buckets around so they were more convenient for all the groups, and drew a map of how I organized the cupboards of buckets! And how does the director reward me for all that work?? Gives me something else to do! *sigh* Oh well!

Proactive Management

So, Stacy met me at work tonight and we decided we were going to celebrate the end of her training at work with a supper out. We decided to go to the Boston Pizza near our place since we were both bussing it from downtown. It was extremely busy there, but we did eventually get seated, and our order taken. We both ordered something to start before a light supper item, and the starters took forever to come. A couple of minutes before they came out, our server came to us and let us know that because our starter items had taken forever to come to us, that the manager was 'buying' those items for us tonight! Considering my years of restaurant experience, I was impressed with the server's wording, and with the fact that we did not have to ask what was taking so long or what could be done to make our experience better!

The Shopping Trip

So today was my sisters' and my shopping trip together. I had a lot of fun, and found a lot of really good deals! I even found something to buy at a store that I am not in their size range, and two things at a store that I never find anything at! I was actually quite happy about both of those!
I enjoyed the company while shopping, which made shopping that much more bearable! Especially when you are clothing shopping you want to be with other people, and my sisters are a blast to go clothing shopping with!
I still have yet to figure out the difference of what I actually spent on everything, and what the regular prices would have been for the same items, but I'll do that!

Saturday Afternoon

So here I am, on a Saturday afternoon, looking at my 'To Do' list and deciding what to do first. I had thought I might go to the mall, but am planning on doing a shopping trip on Wednesday anyways, so what's the point of going today? Sidewalk sales are lovely, especially for someone who does not like shopping. I know, strange for a woman to not like shopping, but my Dad influenced me alot on the shopping part, although when shopping is a get-together time for me and my sisters I will go along.
So today I have sewing, accounting, cooking, laundry, browsing for patterns on the Internet, culling through my piles of magazines, and other crafting to occupy my time. Think that is enough to keep me going? ;-)

Starting Anew

I have been finding that I am unhappy with where I have been blogging, so here is my change! Perhaps this will be a better venue for my thoughts and ponderings, at least it will be better for potential comments!
