Movies, Memorials, and Misery

This past week has been quite full of a variety of things. On Monday, Anthony took the two of us on a date to see the movie '300'. It was a VERY good movie, and I am planning on getting the DVD when it comes out of course! It had been a very long time since I was last in a movie theatre watching a movie, so it was a good way to go on a date too!

Then on Tuesday, I attended a memorial service for a very dear man who passed away on Thursday March 8 of this year. It was very well attended, and Anthony also came with me to that! It was unlike a lot of memorials I have been to because while the attendees were saddened that Merle Johnson was no longer with us, we all knew that he was much happier with God, and that his life's work and life of faith had taken him to where he wanted to be.

Of course, through all of this I was still fighting a cold, and a nasty headache just where the nose meets the forehead. And the headache worsened greatly when I would bend over to reach something, and usually my head felt like it was going to split apart! So I ended up taking one sick day on Thursday because I was so dizzy and feeling so terrible. But I am feeling better now, although I still have a touch of a cold.

I am working on crafting gifts for people to help me pass the time, and getting the apartment cleaned (since spring is coming, I am getting into that spring cleaning mode).
