Well, the other day when I was bussing (using Public Transit) the kindergarten children to school due to the extreme windchill factor, I saw something that has stuck in my brain and getting settled into a few "profound" thoughts. Yeah, as profound as I tend to get, so hang on!
This one child exited from the back of the bus after a few other passengers and her father was behind her. Well, the doors closed and she was on the sidewalk and he was on the bus. The bus had not started to pull away because passengers were still getting on at the front of the bus, but the girl started to scream, "Daddy, Daddy!!" And she ran for the front of the bus to get back on! The Dad headed to the front of the bus from the inside and the two were reunited and they actually ended up following me and the children into the school.
And it got me thinking. When sin separates us from God, our Heavenly Father, what is our reaction? Do we scream spiritually for our Father? Do we try to find our way to Him again? Or do we wait for God to come to us?
I know what I do, and I know what I should do! Now to make the two the same !
